Thursday, 9/9 - This is DAY #3 of the SECRET SONG and here is your next hint...When he first moved to Nashville, the artist of this SECRET SONG worked as a guitarist for Brooks & Dunn, was a session musician, and also can be seen backing Alan Jackson in his video for “Mercury Blues”. So that you don't waste your guess, visit the "PLAYED ON WITL" box on the homepage and you can see the songs that have been played between 10am-2pm during the days of this SECRET SONG. This will help you narrow your request...if we played it, that's not the one! ALSO...sometimes, the new hint for the next day is posted prior to 2:00pm. SECRET SONG
Making your requests could also make you a winner! The first person to correctly request the current Secret Song by title & artist wins their pick of prizes from the Secret Song Prize Drawer. If the winner wins on Day 1 of the Secret Song, then they may choose 5 PRIZES...DAY 2, 4 PRIZES, etc. We will go all the way down to DAY 5, 1 Prize. If no one correctly requests the song by the conclusion of Jordan's All-Request Midday on Day #5, we will reveal the song and start another contest.
To be eligible, participants must be at least 18 years of age and must adhere to the 30-day winning rule (see General Contest Rules). If someone requests the Secret Song who is determined to be ineligle, the process will continue until an eligible partipant requests the song. Once the current Secret Song is requested, the contest will cease for that day and will resume the following weekday with a new Secret Song and start over with Day 1. If the Secret Song is correctly requested via email or text, the potential winner will be notified via email or text and could be called and congratulated on-air, with their permission. Please note, standard text messaging rates apply and you will become a member of the WITL Text Club. WITL not responsible for misdirected/lost phone calls or email/texts messages not received.
To make it fair to all participants, 1 Secret Song request/guess will be accepted per phone number, per email address & per text number per day. Additional guesses/requests coming from the same phone number, email or text number will be deleted and will not be considered for participation in the contest. The Secret song must correctly be requested by Title & Artist to win!
Once a winner has been determined, that person will be verified for eligibility and advised on how to claim prize (see General Contest Rules). That person is then ineligible to win a WITL contest for 30 days.

ABOUT JORDAN
Born and raised in Canyon, Texas, Jordan attended West Texas A&M University and has been in broadcasting since 1983. While working as news director at KMML in Amarillo, Texas, Jordan was a frequent correspondent for the Associated Press. An award-winning journalist, she spear-headed public service campaigns which won local, state, national and international awards. She is also a voice-over talent and has voiced many national commercials, campaigns and promotional materials.
She changed her broadcast focus from news to on-air talent in 1990 when she moved to Michigan. She joined WITL in 1993 and, after working in El Paso & Lansing, came back to the WITL family in 1999 where she is currently Assistant Program Director / Promotions Director.
