Prince Fielder at Fenway Park--Summer 2012

Ernie Harwell! A true legend!
Stephanie McCoy is a native of Michigan. She grew up in small town called Centreville, in southwestern Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Stephanie has been a co-host of the morning show at WITL since November of 1997. Before moving to Lansing, Stephanie worked in radio in several different markets including Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Stephanie is married and has one teen-age son who plays A LOT of baseball. Her family resides in Holt. She loves to spend her free-time testing her basic cooking skills, finding deals at garage sales and thrift stores and watching television. Some of her favorites shows are “The Real Housewives”, “The Young and the Restless” and a lot of the shows on TLC.
Stephanie is a big fan of sports. She cheers for the Detroit Tigers no matter what kind of season they’re having and loves to go to Comerica Park to see them in action. She's also had the chance to see the Tigers play at Fenway Park! (And the Tigers lost both games.)
Although she hates to brag, when Stephanie was MUCH younger she won the frog-jumping contest at the Centreville Covered Bridge Days. The following year after she won, she accidentally broke her frog’s leg and was disqualified. Also, when she was MUCH younger, Stephanie won several free-throw shooting contests around southwest Michigan. She’s also a proud member of her high school Hall of Fame for her glory days as a softball pitcher.
