"Banana" Don Jefferson has been doing mornings at WITL with Stephanie McCoy for the last several years.

Before coming to Lansing, Don was a teenage DJ in his hometown of St. Louis, MO and did morning radio shows in Pittsburgh and  Birmingham.

When he's not slaving over a hot microphone, Don enjoys bow-hunting for monster whitetail deer, following NASCAR (go JR!), and fishing with his family.  Back when he had more time and far less fear, "Banana" got his pilot's license and even got a chance to fly an F-16 for an hour with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Don is married to former Miss USA 1987 Michelle Royer, and they live in DeWitt, with their two daughters, and a mischevious German Shepherd named Axel.
