JACKSON, MI — Pop Country sensation The Band Perry is heading to Mid-Michigan to perform at The Jackson County Fair on Sunday, August 4th, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.
Family is something that has always been important to Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry during their time singing and songwriting as The Band Perry. Hailing from Mississippi, this sibling trio has always had a strong musical presence in their household. Kimberly explains “Daddy rocked us to sleep with The Rolling Stones; Mama woke us up with Loretta Lynn. So we get it honest.”
The Band Perry took the music industry by storm with the release of their self-titled album The Band Perry in October 2010. The album, released by Republic of Nashville, went platinum just one short year after its release. “If I Die Young,” the album’s number one smash hit, was declared as ‘Quadruple Platinum’ by The RIAA after the track exceeded 4 million sales. In the midst of all of this excitement “All Your Life,” a fan favorite, spent two weeks at number one and became Gold-certified.
Currently The Band Perry is working to release their sophomore album, which is due out April 2, 2013. The first single from the upcoming album, “Better Dig Two”, has been widely received by The Band Perry’s quickly growing fan base, and displays the amazing versatility of the band.
